Suffolk Academy is set in 8 acres of sports and recreation facilities and has two campsites, the ‘glamping’ site and the camp site.
The campsite is set within the main festival area so you can see all the action and be involved from the comfort of your motorhome, campervan or tent (no caravans). These have electric hook up and are 10m x 8m with some slightly smaller. The cost of these pitches for the three nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) are £100. Full weekend only. They are limited in number so first come first served.
Also on the Glamping site is family camping no all male/female groups allowed. These are large pitches for families but with no electric and the cost is £70 for the weekend per pitch also limited to first come first served.
The camp site is only 50m from the main site but not visible and form the festival area. A 5m x 5m pitch with no electric is £35 for a single night or £60 for the weekend (3 nights)
Smaller pitches are also available 3m x 3m for smaller tents with no electric at £25 for one night or £50 for the weekend
From 4pm on the Friday if coming for the weekend. If arriving on the Saturday arrivals from 10am and to leave by 10am on the Sunday if only doing one night. If arriving Sunday from 11am (to let the departures get out) and leave by 11am on the Monday.
There are 16 mains flush executive toilets on site for the festival and camping (no portaloos) with outside sinks and hot water for washing. No showers available
Cars can drop off equipment next to the camp site but must then park in the car park. No cars are allowed on the camp site at all.
BBQ’s and FIRES
Due to safety regulations no BBQ’s or Fires are permitted in the camp site however a small BBQ area will be set up to allow cooking there
